Busse Family

Sometime the most unexpected place can be the most beautiful. This park was hidden away and was more of a wildlife park than one for kids to play at. The scenery gets us ready for Fall to come here in Southern California. It has the slight green and the beautiful browns and golds in the background.

Precious Peyton

Newborns are getting easier the more I do them. Each shoot will always provide different challenges. Baby Peyton has arrived and I can't wait to Photograph her growning up.

Easter 2014

It's baby Chavi celebrating the Easter season. He was looking sharply dressed and having fun while explored the park. Children portraits are my all time favorite to photograph.

The Start of a New Family

This is my dear friend Kimi photographed with her boyfriend and his kids. They are expecting a new arrival to the family as baby Peyton is half way here. This shoot was to get some updated pictures of the kids and some of Kimi and her boyfriend. We will be doing maternity pictures at a later time closer to the due date. I am looking foreword to documenting baby Peyton's life as she grows up.

Halloween 2013

This shoot was so much fun. I had the pleasure of photographing baby Xavi and his mom Kathy. A year ago I took Kathy's maternity pictures and newborn pictures of Xavi. A year later it's a blessing to see the baby walking and starting to talk. Kathy was Batgirl and Xavi was Superman. We went to the local pumpkin patch and had fun with the animals and pumpkins. Here's what I got to show you.

Welcome Baby Xavier

The first of many for baby Xavier. A newborn shoot isn't the easiest of shoots but it has many endless possibilities. What fabrics are you going to use? What props are you going to use? Will the parents let you have creative freedom or will your creativity be limited to parents wishes. Like "No I want the clothes on" or "Why do you have to take off the diaper?" My mentor, Erica Adams, gave me a good tool to counter those phrases to persuade the willing. She was explaining to me that when people tell her that, her answer is "Your baby will be dressed for the rest of its life. Any other time that someone is naked isn't as beautiful and innocent." I was thankful that Kathy, Xavier's mother, was letting me get rid of the diaper. The images wouldn't have been as nice with diaper on, I think.

Graduation

Here is a high school graduation session. They wanted the pictures at the beach and I was thankful that it was gloomy that day.

Easter

Here are the pictures of another friend from softball. She wanted nice pictures for Easter and something other than what is taken in a studio. We took the pictures at Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach.

Easter with Makayla

Makayla and her cousin get ready for Easter. These were taken at El Dorado Park in Long Beach. We tried for some props. As time has gone by Makayla has come around to the idea of taken pictures. She now loves getting all pretty for the camera.

Makayla Summer Time

Here is little Miss. Makayla. It's summer time and her mom wanted just some nice pictures to document her little girl growing up. She picked out a nice outfit and we went to a park in San Pedro. There is lots of greenery to go around.

Dustin

This is baby Dustin. I play slow pitch softball with his parents and they just wanted some nice pictures of their family. Babies are tough, i've come to realize that.
